The "resort like" vibe and location "across from SeaWorld" make this a winner with leisure travels who are also "blown away" by the "gorgeous landscaping" and "awesome" views of the "marina" and Mission Bay; "sleek" and "roomy" accommodations, "courteous" employees and a recently renovated pool are also pluses, but note that the location is "a little off the beaten path" "if you want to be near Downtown"; at busy times the service is "not quite where it needs to be."

It was convenient.
Room smelled like mold or mildew.
Nice hotel, our particular room smelled musty and damp, a definite odor but we were in the older section on the ground floor bungalows near the pool and the damp smell was definitely there. 20$ for parking is a little high at a hotel like this. ...read more

It was gorgeous location, right on the water! 3 swimming pools and a hot tub, perfect! Loved it.
There is $20 parking, but if you park in the street, they do not ticket.

The staff was wonderful and gave me a room with a beautiful view!
If I recall I got charged for parking my rental car every day. That was a bummer.
I've now stayed at this hotel twice through Priceline and enjoyed it both times. I would love to stay here again. They were busy this last time cleaning up after the heavy rains they had experienced, but it was still so nice. ...read more

We paid an extra $20 for an amazing view of the bay and beaches.
The breakfast at hotel restaurant was very overpriced.
The staff was very warm and welcoming. They sent us free champagne for our anniversary.
